IVA DESIGN STUDIO was founded in 2013 and our offices in Bangalore and Mysore have established reputations for delivering buildings designed with skill and appropriate innovation. Our schemes arise from close client collaboration and sophisticated responses to contexts and functions.

Most importantly, we seek to make buildings that will add meaning to our changing lives and place the experience of individuals; as occupants, visitors or just passers-by, at the heart of our architectural compositions.

Design Approach

We design architecture that is founded on strong ideas. Our designs are propelled by ideas that will produce buildings of outstanding architectural clarity, character and usefulness. We produce architecture whose forms and fine details articulate the fundamental design idea to add something distinctive and delightful to the quality of places and lives.

Our search for creative and effective design ideas begins with a rigorous study of the client's brief, the constraints and opportunities of the site and its history. This is the bedrock. The core design idea arises from a detailed understanding of the key issues. This leads to innovation, functional clarity and coherent responses to important contextual or heritage factors. Our design ideas are also rooted in both general environmental considerations, and more specific and sophisticated reductions of energy use.

The studio offers co-ordinated consultancy services to clients, accepting responsibility for project management including initiating, planning, execution, controlling and closing of all processes. The Studio is highly capable in the production of innovative designs with engineering precision and is able to manage & supervise their execution to exacting detail and quality.
